It was a Thursday around 3:30 pm, and I was meeting a friend for happy hour. We had initially planned to meet in Sherman Oaks, but the chosen restaurant/bar didn’t open until 5 pm. “No problem,” I assured my friend. “Give me 5 minutes, and I’ll find something on Yelp.” BINGO! Rocco’s, just east on Ventura Blvd. I called, and Bridgette, the manager, answered. She was incredibly sweet and confirmed that they were indeed open for happy hour. Yay! We’ll see you soon, I told her. When we arrived, Alexandria greeted us and took our drink orders. Rocco’s may appear small from the outside, but it’s surprisingly spacious inside. The bar spans the length of the entire wall on the left, and there’s also a covered patio at the front.
We sat inside at one of the high top tables for 3 hours chatting away without being bothered or made to feel like we should leave. It was great.
Alexandria was so friendly and we got to know a bit about her and she got to know a bit about us. Rocco’s is a great neighborhood bar. I noticed that several of the other patrons were regulars and the staff seemed to comfortably interact with them. I loved the energy here.
FYI: They also serve food and have an extensive menu.
*Sorry, I was so busy talking to my friend Kenny that I forgot to take a pic of my lemon drop, (which was yummy with a kick! I am a light weight so it was a good thing I was there for a few hours! Ha!
Metered street parking is available. Rocco’s has several large TVs inside to watch sports. I highly recommend this place. You will love the staff!

Amazing service, as always. It’s been a while since my last visit, but I always come here for happy hour. Great prices and great food, with 2-for-1 drinks, half-price boneless wings, and pizza. We usually order the traditional wings at full price, but the best flavors are the original hot and Baltimore. The pizza here is honestly the best as well. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but it’s easy to find. Make sure to check in for your free brownie—it’s delicious and well worth it. Happy hour runs from 10 pm until close.
Nick provided wonderful service and we will definitely be back for their delicious wings.

After a wonderful experience at the Pasadena location, we decided to dine at this location for dinner. They had plenty of metered street parking available. It was relatively quiet, so we had our choice of tables. Nick, our server, promptly greeted us and took our drink order while we perused the menu. Since we had thoroughly enjoyed the chicken wings and calamari on a previous visit, we decided to order them again, along with a Caesar salad. Once more, the chicken wings—honey BBQ and original flavor—were absolutely delectable. Their ranch dressing complements them perfectly. The calamari was also seasoned to perfection, lightly fried, and well-seasoned. While the Caesar salad was dressed nicely, it lacked a bit of flavor.
Nick provided wonderful service and we will definitely be back for their delicious wings.

We had a fantastic time at Rocco’s while watching the Nebraska Huskers game! They reserved tables for us, and most of the televisions were tuned into the game. Our server was excellent and checked on us frequently. We ordered the Italian fries, which were delicious and came with a garlic aioli sauce that was utterly addictive. We also got a pizza with various toppings, and it had a thin crust and was incredibly tasty. Each of us ordered a large beer, and the portions were substantial (which is always a good thing). Plus, we received a free brownie for dessert when we checked in at the restaurant. The seating was comfortable and ideal for watching a game. It was a tad chilly because they had the windows/doors open, but we all had sweatshirts, which provided enough comfort. Overall, we had an exceptional experience and plan to

Rocco’s makes Sundays fun! As someone in the industry, I often find it disappointing to go out, especially on a day off from working at a bar, when the service or food falls short. That wasn’t the case at Rocco’s. Thank you for making my Sunday memorable. It truly was a great experience. I’m the type with ADHD, and the fact that I remembered to write this review speaks volumes! My friends and I didn’t opt for a table, but I couldn’t help but notice how pleasant the servers were. They were welcoming and friendly, and Nick, in particular, is a gem! You’re lucky to have him because it’s rare (especially these days) for a bartender to possess such patience and a great sense of humor. He makes an excellent Bloody Mary, with just the right amount of spice and Tajin on the rim. He also kindly charged my phone, despite my annoyance at asking for a charger.
